Set in the distinctive Perthshire countryside Lower Scone is a scenic and productive beat. Situated about five miles north of Perth it consists of 22 named pools over 1.6 miles of double bank fishing. Famed for its large catches and with a catchment of 2,000 square miles the Tay has the largest volume of flow of all the Scottish rivers and is highly regarded as a place to fish. The Tay season runs from the 15th January and closes on October 15th.

The beat has a 10 year catch average of 9.1 fish.

There are two full time ghillies, two boats, excellent facilities and easy access.

The estate extends to 14,000 acres consisting of heather clad hills, woodland, waterfalls and remote glens. The estate provides some challenging and exciting stalking for two rifles with fishing for salmon and trout on the River.
