On behalf of Atholl Estates we are looking for a suitable sporting tenant for a period of 2 – 5 years. The rental of Bruar Lodge will include the resident headkeeper and housekeeper, who are employed by Atholl Estates. Bruar Lodge is surrounded by dramatic hills and moorland and provides comfortable accommodation for up to eighteen people. The accommodation at Glen Bruar comprises of a drawing room, dining room, small sitting room, 3 double bedrooms, 5 twin bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen with two gas-fired cookers, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish-washer, drying room, gun room. Oil-fired central heating. Electricity is supplied by generator.

Lodge rental in the region of £25,000.00 per annum.
The sport will be let to the Bruar Lodge tenant at slightly below the market rate.
The tenant can commit to all the sport throughout the season or just certain weeks, to be agreed.
Any additional sport that has not been taken by the tenant will be let commercially.
Garron ponies still used on the estate in the traditional way.
The estate will continue to employ the stalker and housekeeper and pony man.

Sporting

The Bruar beat will produce around 30 stags and 40 hinds, together with 150 brace of grouse, walked-up.
Dominic Morrogh Bernard is the full time head keeper on the Bruar beat and his Gill is the lodge housekeeper.
Salmon fishing is available on the River Tummel or the River Tilt. There is also trout fishing in the Bruar loch near the lodge
